Nic Perino was named the Company’s first General Counsel in October 2023 and leads the legal function as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, bringing deep experience in risk management, business strategy, and senior advisory roles to provide practical, forward-thinking counsel that supports sustainable growth while protecting the organization’s interests. He oversees all corporate legal matters, including governance, compliance, transactions, employment law, and litigation strategy, and is known for translating complex legal issues into clear business insights that align legal and operational strategy. Prior to joining AMS, Nic served as General Counsel of a Chicago-based private equity real estate investment fund and as Senior Counsel in the Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Law departments of an international law firm; he holds a J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
