Estimating Assistant | Commercial Construction

Located in our beautiful Woodridge, IL facility and reporting to the Chief Estimator. The Estimating Assistant will assist in supporting our estimating team in accurately and efficiently estimating costs for commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:

- Support the estimating team in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Assist in gathering project information, including blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to identify materials, labor, and other costs associated with the project.
- Contact subcontractors and vendors for quotes.
- Use estimating software and spreadsheets to help input data and generate cost estimates.
- Ensure that all bid documents are accurate, complete, and submitted within designated deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of project estimates, bids, and related documentation using our bid management software.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction estimating is a plus.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
