Our History
It was in 1963 that John Berzanskis Sr. would start AMS out of former gas station facility with the idea in mind to be a refrigeration company that simply “cares.” Over fifty years later, we are now 500+ employees to date and are endlessly expanding our focus in the mechanical industry with our reliable, hard, and honest work to better serve our clients as we proudly continue to stand on that foundation as an employee-owned company.

For over 50 years, AMS Industries, Inc. has served the MEP+™ and refrigeration needs of the chemical, food, process, manufacturing and power industries. Diversification through our corporate commitment and dedication to the industry, AMS has developed its operations into commercial HVAC, system automation, design/build, ventilation, technology and performance contracting and construction management services.
