Our solution is an emergency notification system explicitly engineered to alert law enforcement officials and other first responders to the threat of a violent criminal attack. This is precisely what the new BluePoint notification system is purpose-built for.
BluePoint Alert Solutions
BluePoint leads the way once again in advancing Rapid Emergency Response Systems (RERS). Adding to our systems that rapidly alert both first responders and building occupants to a serious situation, this tool further improves that response.
Although designed to integrate seamlessly with our Police Alert and Medical Alert systems, the Command & Control Incident Management System is a stand-alone valuable tool. Command & Control complies with FEMA recommended incident command structure and multi-hazard communications.
When used from the website (as opposed to initiated from a BluePoint device):

Location and Reunification
People can report their location, and—during the crisis only—have their location tracked. This allows first responders to see where people are, where they are moving to, and where they are moving from. It also provides a means for people to respond with their status (“I’m okay” or “Need help”) so first responders can get a quicker handle on the severity of the situation.

The BluePoint solution, designed for crisis situations, prioritizes a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Users don’t require training to activate it; they only need to know when and what to do after activation. In addition to standard pull stations, our solution incorporates wearable mobile pendants, enabling individuals within the building to promptly and securely activate the system when they identify an issue, enhancing their ability to respond effectively.

Our genuine life safety solution alerts all building occupants, including long-term employees and visitors, to take necessary precautions. Strobe lights and clear audio messages achieve this, effectively minimizing panic and confusion. Our messages include reminders of response protocols (like lockdown or run-hide-fight) and assure imminent police assistance. Strobe lights additionally emphasize the messaging, especially in areas with high ambient noise and at building entrances, acting as a deterrent to individuals from entering.

We engaged with first responders across the country, seeking their input on the tools that could best enhance response efforts. This process allowed us to discern the genuinely valuable from the less so. By upholding our commitment to simplicity and intuitiveness, we deliver vital information swiftly, securely, and intuitively. Our Command & Control communication portal empowers both first responders and building occupants to make quicker, more informed decisions. This information remains easily accessible during a crisis and well-protected during normal circumstances.
Once activated with a BluePoint Alert Solutions device:
- Police are contacted in less time than a 911 call.
- Building occupants are alerted through both visual and audio methods.
- Text, e-mail, and voice alerts are automatically sent to designated groups.
- The Command Group receives a text or e-mail with secure links to critical information. See the Command & Control page for more information.
- Other groups of people receive lower levels of information at the client’s discretion.
