How BluePoint Works
BluePoint once again takes the lead in advancing Rapid Emergency Response Systems (RERS). In addition to our systems that swiftly alert both first responders and building occupants to a serious situation, this tool enhances response even further.
Designed for seamless integration with our Police Alert and Medical Alert systems, the Command & Control Incident Management System stands as a valuable stand-alone tool. Command & Control aligns with FEMA’s recommended incident command structure and multi-hazard communications.
When used from the website (as opposed to initiated from a BluePoint device):

Building occupants provide real-time situational awareness to the command group. Through our common word filtering, the command group gains quick insights into the information being provided. Location and Reunification
People can report their location, and—during the crisis only—have their location tracked. Consequently, this allows first responders to see where people are, where they are moving to, and where they are moving from. Additionally, it provides a means for people to respond with their status (“I’m okay” or “Need help”), thereby enabling first responders to get a quicker handle on the severity of the situation.

Simplified Crisis Response: The BluePoint Solution
The BluePoint solution, designed for crisis situations, places a priority on a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Users do not need training to activate it; instead, they only need to know when and what to do after activation. Moreover, in addition to standard pull stations, our solution integrates wearable mobile pendants, allowing individuals within the building to promptly and securely activate the system when they identify an issue. This enhancement improves their ability to respond effectively.
Comprehensive Life Safety Solution for Building Occupants
Our genuine life safety solution efficiently alerts all building occupants, including long-term employees and visitors, prompting them to take necessary precautions. To accomplish this, we employ strobe lights and clear audio messages, which effectively reduce panic and confusion. Furthermore, our messages incorporate reminders of response protocols (such as lockdown or run-hide-fight) and provide assurance of imminent police assistance. Additionally, we strategically position strobe lights to emphasize the messaging, especially in areas with high ambient noise and at building entrances, serving as a deterrent to prevent individuals from entering.

We engaged with first responders across the country, seeking their input on the tools that could best enhance response efforts. This process allowed us to discern the genuinely valuable from the less so. By upholding our commitment to simplicity and intuitiveness, we deliver vital information swiftly, securely, and intuitively. Our Command & Control communication portal empowers both first responders and building occupants to make quicker, more informed decisions. This information remains easily accessible during a crisis and well-protected during normal circumstances.
Once activated with a BluePoint Alert Solutions device:
- Police are contacted in less time than a 911 call.
- Building occupants are alerted through both visual and audio methods.
- Text, e-mail, and voice alerts are automatically sent to designated groups.

- Other groups of people receive lower levels of information at the client’s discretion.
