Commercial Service Plumber

As a Local 130 Service Plumber at AMS, you're the expertise behind every commercial and industrial plumbing call. Out of our Woodridge, IL facility, reporting to the General Manager, you'll provide routine and emergency plumbing services to our customer base across industrial, commercial, and residential locations.

You'll manage multiple tasks and responsibilities as a journeyman service plumber, including paperwork, documentation, customer relations, communication, and repair and PM schedules, working unsupervised or with limited supervision across the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana corridor. The role includes on-call duty rotation nights and weekends as required, and you'll bring strong verbal and written communication skills, basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation via iPad and iPhone, and a clear commitment to safety policies and governing requirements. • Perform routine and emergency service in industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
• Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities as a journeyman service plumber, including paperwork, documentation, customer relations, communication, and repair and PM schedules.
• Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements, with the ability to work unsupervised or with limited supervision.
• Work across the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana corridor with a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Perform on-call duty rotation nights and weekends as required.
• Maintain electronic documentation via iPad and iPhone using basic computer skills.
