Project Description: Woodfield Corporate Center embarked on a significant infrastructure revitalization, recognizing the critical need for enhanced operational efficiency. The comprehensive initiative included the replacement of chillers, cooling towers, and pumps across both towers on the property. The positioning of these units also presented our team with unique challenges. Maneuvering the equipment twenty-three stories up for roof access, coupled with the tight space around the building’s opening, required precision and expertise, comparable to threading a needle during the removal and installation of these massive units. Our team of project management and field craftsmen seamlessly executed the removal of the outdated units, and installation of a 1200-ton chiller in one tower and an 800-ton counterpart in the other, delivering a seamless and dependable cooling solution for both facilities. The result is a notable improvement in energy utilization, leading to significantly reduced maintenance expenses and an elevated standard of occupant comfort.
