Commitment to Security

AMS Industries, Inc. IT Infrastructure plays an integral role in day to day operations. The backbone to all integration begins with our IT group which consists of several very talented individuals bringing a host of skills and over 30 years of experience to the table.  AMS is primarily a Microsoft shop that leverages off of their products and services to keep the business running as efficiently as possible.  Tapping the skill set of our IT Department, the majority of the systems are kept on premise allowing the company to keep recurring costs under control that ultimately allows AMS to extend those savings to the customer.   Security is one area that AMS takes very seriously and as a result of today’s level of threats receives much attention.  AMS is committed to protecting employee and customer data by utilizing state of the art multi-layer systems and services.

One example of our commitment to security is that all incoming and outgoing email is scanned for malware or viruses by an off-site 3rd party service provider. At AMS we utilize our talent and resources to not only support the core systems that support day to day operations running, but also stay current with the ever-changing world of CAD, over 20 stations that exist in our engineering department, and other cloud-based services used in the construction industry. We are also very committed to the ongoing evolution in the area of mobile computing by currently utilizing over 350 devices that are deployed in the field that have the ability to receive CAD files and other information directly at the job site. As part of that commitment, AMS employs full-time programmers dedicated to developing and maintaining custom applications targeting workflow processes and industry demands.
